Rainwater is a style of madeira and is similar in sweetness to verdelho just a touch off dry but not too sugary. Notes of orange peel and slivered almonds, with very good acidity. This will keep forever and is really easy to pair with desserts, as the dry finish won't overwhelm a less sweet dessert and won't be overshadowed by a very rich one.
