1950s Avant Garde Draped Silk Dress designer-hermes The front and back necklineExceptional and unusual little black silk dress with a label attributing it to Zoe who created demi couture made to order pieces in Toronto in the fifties and early sixties. The dress has a definite couture like feel and is rather edgy for its time period of the late fifties to early sixties. The base is constructed from a luxurious silk that has an almost sueded feel to it and then it was lined in silk as well. It is very light weight because of the
