From a distance I spotted a tree which looked interesting in its location and when I got there found the fresh snow surrounding the area which I photographed and created this image

When I was in a small village in the Faroe Islands I was able to take advantage of this dock or pier. Being elevated over the water let me photograph down, but also close to the water itself. The longer shutter speed caught some motion, but not too much so there are still the sharp edges of the water being seen in the image.
